MAY’S HEADLINER — Myq Kaplan
Myq Kaplan is a comedian named Mike Kaplan. He has performed on the Tonight Show, Conan, the Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Late Late Show with James Corden, in his own half-hour Comedy Central Presents special, and in his own one-hour special on Netflix and now Amazon, “Small, Dork, and Handsome.” He has been a finalist on Last Comic Standing and recently appeared on America’s Got Talent. His debut album “Vegan Mind Meld” was one of iTunes’ top 10 comedy albums of the year, and his most recent album "No Kidding" is one of the top billion albums of eternity. FEATURING — Andrew Mayer
With a quirky delivery and an offbeat sense of humor, Andrew Mayer has quickly become a mainstay in Boston’s comedy scene. He is a previous winner of the Boston Comedy Festival, and has performed at the Bridgetown and Laughing Skull Comedy Festivals around the country. His debut album, Nonsense, was released in 2015.
OPENER — Chloé Cunha
Chloé s a comedian, poet, and occasional sapphic vampire/assassin such as in the retro indie horror film Blood of the Tribades (2016), or The Penumbra Podcast. She hosts and produces The Queer Qomedy Hour at ImprovBoston and does stand-up all throughout the greater Boston area, as well as sketch with the group Magenta Strike Squad. She has performed at several festivals, such as the Midwest Queer Comedy Festival, the Dallas Comedy Festival, and the Women in Comedy Festival. After a mere three months of performing, Mike won the NH Comedy Festival, defeating some of New England’s most established comics and he quickly climbed the comedic ranks to become one of the youngest headliners in Boston history. He’s been praised by the Boston Globe as “One of Boston’s Best.” Mike has been featured on Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots, starred in numerous TV commercials, and toured overseas for the USO. He has served as Comic In Residence at The Comedy Studio and is a favorite of the Boston Comedy Festival. He’s written and performed several one man shows which have had runs at the Charles Playhouse and Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater.
