The most popular drinks were easy and fast to make (sugary premixes were the name of the game), but were they actually good? Join Meredith for this month's mixology class at Orange Door Kitchen to drink to the years that brought us Cocktail…with an updated, handmade twist. We'll be mixing up three decade-defining libations (one shaken, one stirred, and one punch) that were on every bar menu in the 1980s. While we're at it, you'll learn foolproof techniques for your home bar and get hands-on to practice measuring, mixing, and mastering flavor with steal-the-recipe craft cocktails. Chris will serve up thoughtfully paired snacks to soak up some of that booze.
Tickets are $65 and include heavy appetizers and two cocktails.
