Sweet tea may not be much of a cultural thing in the northeast, but New Englanders have a long tradition of caring a lot about the taxation of said beverage. Regardless of your colonial-era politics, tea is the perfect beverage for late spring and early summer. It can be sipped hot to warm up a chilly morning, or gulped cold to cool down a hot afternoon. It can also be mixed with booze for brunches, barbecues, and bashes! Join Meredith at this month’s mixology class for a demonstration of three different tea-based tipples to toast the beginning of summer - shaken, stirred and punched. While we're at it, you'll learn foolproof techniques for your home bar and get hands-on to practice measuring, mixing, and mastering flavor with steal-the-recipe craft cocktails. Chris will serve up scrumptious snacks to soak up some of that booze.
Tickets are $65 and include heavy appetizers and two cocktails.
